Who We Are
I am a licensed mental health counselor (LMHC) based in St. Augustine and provide virtual mental health services across Florida. My goal is to help you flourish and feel empowered. Everyone is welcome in this space designed to feel safe and non-judgmental. I look forward to connect with you.
EMDR
Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR) is a highly-effective and research-supported therapy approach. EMDR helps people heal from painful or overwhelming experiences that can feel “stuck” in the mind and body. By gently guiding the brain to reprocess these memories, EMDR can reduce distress and help you move forward with greater peace and confidence.
Trauma & PTSD
Trauma can affect people in many different ways, and if you’re struggling with the impact of past experiences, you’re not alone. Many individuals live with symptoms of trauma or PTSD that can show up as anxiety, intrusive memories, emotional numbness, difficulty sleeping, or feeling constantly on edge. These responses are not signs of weakness—they are natural ways the mind and body try to cope with overwhelming experiences.
Healing is possible. In a safe, supportive, and non-judgmental space, therapy can help you better understand your reactions, gently process difficult memories, and learn tools to feel more grounded and in control of your life again. You don’t have to carry everything by yourself.
Anxiety & Depression
Living with anxiety or depression can feel overwhelming and exhausting. You may find yourself constantly worrying, feeling stuck in negative thoughts, losing motivation, or struggling to enjoy things that once felt meaningful. These experiences can make everyday life feel much heavier - like carrying the emotional load of the world on your shoulders.
Therapy can offer a healing space where you can slow down, talk openly about what you’re going through, and begin to understand the patterns that keep you feeling stuck. Together, we can work toward practical tools and healthier ways of coping so you can feel more balanced, connected, and hopeful again.
Womens Health Issues
Women’s health concerns can affect emotional wellbeing in ways that are often overlooked or misunderstood. Experiences such as navigating neurodivergence, coping with perimenopausal changes, living with PCOS or endometriosis, or facing infertility can bring up complex feelings—stress, grief, frustration, isolation, or uncertainty about the future. You deserve a space where these experiences are taken seriously and met with compassion.
Together, we can explore ways to cope with physical and emotional changes, build self-understanding, and develop strategies that support your wellbeing and daily life. With the right support, it’s possible to find steadiness, clarity, and a renewed sense of connection with yourself.
Relationships
Any type of relationships can be deeply meaningful, but they can also become a source of stress, confusion, or hurt when patterns of conflict, distance, or miscommunication develop. You may find yourselves having the same arguments, feeling misunderstood, or struggling to express what you truly need from one another.
Individual therapy can help uncover the deeper emotional patterns that shape how we connect with others. By exploring these patterns, you can begin to understand your needs more clearly, communicate more openly, and create a stronger sense of safety and connection in your relationships.
With guidance and support, it’s possible to move beyond cycles of conflict and build healthier, more secure ways of relating to others and yourself.
“Owning our story and loving ourselves through that process is the bravest thing we’ll ever do.”
